Graduation is right around the corner! The Rover boys are finally snagging those PED-DEGREEs (Pun Source: Dave McPeters) and we're itchin to hit the road.
We're about 99% finished with the next litter, the Horse Marriage full length LP is at the pressing plant, we're working on their new cassette as well, and DIRTWORM will be recording this upcoming weekend - It's all comin' together!
The Horse Marriage tour is coming along as well. Check out the MYSPACE for tour dates and what not.
We're hurtin' when it comes to Arizona and New Mexico (both, as we have learned, are notoriously hard to book. Must be the boycott?) and the dates are approaching rapidly. Dates booked or not, we're speeding on!
If anyone could help us with: June 17 in AZ, June 19 in NM, June 21 in TX, July 1st in GA, July 3/5 in Virginia or a neighboring state, July 6 in MD, July 13 in RI, July 20th in Chicago, and 22 in WI (with our dear dear Black Eagle Child).
It's an admittedly embarrassingly long list, however the tour itself is a long one and booking is no picnic.

The Rover boys are back in school and are once again scattered across California. All this separation anxiety is fueling the next batch, however. Expect new tunes from Soul Manure, Sean McCann, Ugly Husbands, Old Softy, AND Horse Marriage. Not to mention the introduction of DIRTWORM! It's all coming together!
We've also got a couple shows to look forward to:
DIRTWORM is playing a free show at Harvest Church in Santa Barbara, CA on Sept. 11.
Soul Manure is playing with Inca Ore at Amnesia in San Francisco on Sept. 17.
and a Free Show at the Rover House (504 Palm Street. Santa Cruz, CA) alongside Ducktails, Alice Cohen, and Radiant Husk on Sept. 18.

PUBLIC ACCESS TAKEOVER! (July 31, 2009)
Speaking of facelifts; we sure gave our local public access station one last night!
But don't take our word for it, here is what the folks at the highly reputable "Rants n Raves" section of craigslist.org are saying: "Did anyone see this last night? I only caught parts of it, but Roll Over Rover was light years ahead of anything that has ever happened on that station. I will watch it anytime I see those guys are on."
Who can disagree with those racist, road ragin', diddy fiddlin posters over at craigslist? Not me!
Blood, oatmeal, jokes, trivia, slime, music, costumes, friends - what else could you ask for on a summer night!
