Bats in the Belfry (English for Loco in the Cabeza) are: Kellen Shipley, Ashlinn Smith, and other melody-makers, sometimes including Dave Esquer, Kaitlin Brennan, Dave McPeters, Adam Arcuragi, and Sean McCann. The band's origins lie in the hole of Northridge, California and it has since slowly crept upward, settling in San Francisco's Sunset district, land of surfers, dim sum, and Mark Koezelek references. When they're not sunbathing or drinking coffee til they get the shakes, Kel and Ashlinn are busy getting mistaken for Napoleon Dynamite and Shelley Duvall or working on Kellen's more experimental-leaning music. They also enjoy Mexican blankets and TV on DVD. Stay tuned for more Rover releases.
